But now back to humans. A report hitting the airwaves yesterday, just by total co-incidence co-inciding with Easter co-incidentally..stated that if you eat at least 7.5grams of chocolate a day, particularly dark chocolate, it is actually good for you. Oh rejoice one and all! In actual fact you are at a 39% lower risk of getting heart problems or stroke in comparison to someone who consumes neglible or near negligble amounts per day.
It actually lowers peoples blood pressure... something to do with the flavonoids found in the cocoa bean, so there you are. A modest consumption of chocolate will lower blood pressure and lower your risk of stroke and so forth.
Good news therefore for lovers of Easter Eggs, so go for it, but as they say ...everything in moderation...or there are other problems lurking.
