Electricity problems
- 30 March 2010 18:3845181Very curious - last night in Guston the voltage in the electricity supply was so weak that the lights in our house were really dim (as were the street lights), the electric fire was barely putting out any heat at all and the sound on the TV was intermittently on and off. Did anyone else have a similar experience?
Went to report it to EDF this morning; the extremely helpful operative at the other end advised me that if the engineers attended the scene and found no fault, I would be liable for the costs......
True friends stab you in the front. - 30 March 2010 19:0345185I was told Morrisons was shut for a while today,Buckland Avenue always have problems and on my way home they are digging up the road by Buckland Church again!If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!
- 30 March 2010 21:2245202John Had a problem with the electricity sub station thingy at the back of Morrisons this morning that Netto Farmfoods,Poundstretcher and Jollyes all share' smoke and fumes pouring out of the dammned thing, power in the row of four shops out for nearly two hours' Morrisons out all day and still out when I left work at six this evening. E.D.F were trying their best to get Morrisons going again, dont know if they have had any luck yet. so am expecting a call out from the alarm company if we get any more power cut's' as it switches all the alarm's on. Deep joy! I think Morrison's will have to go back to their generator again as they are drawing to much power,
