Whilst sunning myself at the end of Dover Western Docks cruise terminal with Posh Barry,i noticed through my champagne glass that the rear of Dover Hoverport is being knocked down,Barry tells me this is for his new home as Paul has a Penthouse suite at the top of the Gateway,Posh Barry is trying to go one better with a Villa built on the Hoverport site.
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!

Work started in late May (and was just picked up in the Express!!!)
It is a 12 week project, the building to be demolished, metals to be recycled and rubble to be kept on site, presumable for hardcore/infill
Been nice knowing you :)

My husband worked there for many years .Nigels boss at one time .The Hovercraft business was the reason for relocating to Dover .It was a lovely town then .I cant believe how people put up with it .I walked from Beaconsfied road the other day noticed several things which needed doing .I have reported them .Dont other councillors walk their patch .I know John sees things riding on his bike to and fro .
I have reported overhanging trees near to where I live .Three weeks before action will be taken .At the weekend I shall take my shears and cut off the offendi ng lower branches .Its not good as so many people walk past to and from the home .
There is no sign of urgency these days tomorrow will do is the order of the day

there is no substitute for a councillor walking their their patch, they will soon have people giving their opinions to them.
best way of finding out what matters to the electorate.

Exactly Howard.
Although I don't walk around it all day every day, I do walk around it and report the bad things I see.
