Sid, I cannot believe what you say about Scots burning our English Flag, and, as Ian also states, so too do I, that our national Flags are there for every day, not just for football!
Jimmy Long, it's alright to fly the Scottish Flag in England, and when you fly the Union Flag, it includes the English Saint George Cross, so I assume you admire the English Flag too! As for the e.u. rag, well, you used the right words.
Back to Sid: When England and Scotland united with one Parliament, the Scots had been advocating this unity for a long time, and the unity came about to fulfil this wish and desire of the Scots no less than of the English.
You will find that the English and Scots are not at all despising each other!
