I`ve just spent the last 25 minute`s sitting out in the garden, a bit fresh out there, so a small jacket on, but I`ve been listening to a couple of blackbirds singing away. Year in year out we`ve always had them, and being peaceful where we are, with just the odd few motors, all the trouble`s of the world seem so trivial and unimportant. The long dark evening`s have gone for a while, savour these light evenings before they start drawing in again.

they do not last long colin, as you say though, not to be wasted.
i enjoy a chat with the neighbours, watch the cat chasing butterflies and seeing the flowers at their best.
a glass of something alcoholic adds to it too.

After what I saw on here the other week Howard, I think anything goes.

Despite working miles away (bloody Essex past the Funnel!!) I usually arrive very early - so shoot me I have a work ethic! It is a tad isolated (don't ask...) and each morning I meet, on the path leading out of the car park, squirrels, rabbits, and so many birds I can't count them. The daffodils are gorgeous, the buds on the trees are lush, and the sounds of the waking day are almost unbearably beautiful. I swear some mornings I would not be surpried to see Colins bulbs lighting up, it is so surreal and lovely.

I think Bern, so many people are unaware of what`s around them. Either that or they don`t care, or they find what`s around them boring. At work this morning, I managed to wander off into some woods on the banks of the River Medway, and it was so peaceful, and it`s when I could have done with a good camera to record the various bird`s I saw, including a colourful pheasant, which shot out in front of me. Plenty of plant life about too. Just pop a couple of pics on from this morning.

I think therefore I am (not a Tory supporter)
Marek - you are not a million miles away from being accurately close to my current environs!!!
I thought it was "keep 'em peeled" (touches side of nose with forefinger).
