  Brian, it is not so easy as that. When mixing with certain members of my wife's family, who are heavy smokers, I used to have a choice, be unsociable and refuse to go with them to the pub or go along and suffer from their waste products. The last time I was with them it was a real pleasure to actually go for a drink with them for a change. If there was a choice they would go to a smoking pub, not a non-smoking pub, so my dilemma would arise.
  
  Interestingly they dont smoke in their home, but they would want to smoke in a pub. A bit of double standards perhaps.
