    As a non drinking smoker, to be honest the smoking ban does not bother me.

    I never smoked in restaurants as it was unfair to my taste buds and more importantly to those around me who were still eating.

    In continental cafes my preference was and is to sit outside where I can still smoke if I want, nursing my coffee and watching the world go by.

    As for public transport I am not at all bothered that you can no longer smoke, frankly if you cannot last for the length of your train or bus journey then you really have a problem.
