    I would have thought that having a fag in the trenches during WW1 was the least of Tommys' worries.

    Nowadays we are better informed of the health risks involved with smoking.This generation of 14 year olds have no excuses for taking up the dreaded weed.Unlike our parents and grandparents who were encouraged to smoke as an aid to ease their everyday worries and to relax with a packet of 10 Dreadnoughts for men.

    I am surprised,Bern. that none of the pro lobby have come up with the tale of their Dear old Aunt Maggie who lived to be 223 years old who smoked like a chimney and drank like a fish and it never did her any harm...argument.
