There's a planning application notice appeared on the fence there for 13 flats on 4 floors. Retail on the ground floor.

Noticed workmen clearing up the site the other day.
Another one of Dover's long delayed residential developments!

Be nice to see it finally turned into something. A friend of mine was doing security for the site for a couple of years, he got paid to go there twice a night to make sure the fence was secure and no one was in there?

This site could probably be used to sell fuel.

Think of the chaos a working petrol station there would have created this week.

I think it is only being used for stores to main site but I could be wrong.

It will be interesting what a developer will try to put on the site.
The underground fuel tanks area could be changed to cellars if the buyer tries for housing, that is only if the ground is not deemed contaminated.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.
