  just had a look in there is a site dedicated to "saving " dover port.
  
  once i cut through the obscenities and assorted rubbish i discovered that a lot of people were under the impression that the white cliffs would be sold as part of the package.
  
  just as amusingly there were others that thought if the "froggies" sic purchased it, english staff would all be replaced by french people.
  
  i know a lot of people love social networking sites, but there does sometimes appear to be "more out than in".
