Not a good day - we also lost Farrah, the original Charlies Angel.
She had battled with cancer for 3 years and had been planning to marry her partner of 27 years Ryan O'Neal.
I think most of us who were around in the 70s wanted to be like her, she was so beautiful.
RIP Farrah and condolences to Ryan.x
There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".

I agree Jacqui - a very sad day.
She fought long and hard and was very stoical.
A beautiful and very bubbly Lady and despite Charlie's Angels, was a good actress too.
I understood she did marry him a short time ago.

Yes she certainly was the face for the age, everyone wanted to have flowing locks and a shiney white teeth smile like Farrah Fawcett Majors as she was at the time. She was married of course to Lee Majors. There were two very big tv series then..The Six Million Dollar Man and Charleys Angels. Farrah was star of Charleys Angels and Lee was the Star of Six Million Dollar Man...and when they got together romantically it was the tabloid dream of the time. The glory days didnt last all that long...tempes fugit...and although married that didnt last all that long either.

I was more of a Jaclyn Smith man, personally, but there you go...
RIP to Farrah Fawcett, a classic all-American girl.

Its a shame to lose another 'face' of the seventies, I was also a big fan of hers and wanted her shiney white teeth, gorgeous blond hair, not to mention her then hunk of a husband Lee Majors! She fought long and hard with her battle against cancer R.I.P

I'm with Andrew, I preferred Jaclyn Smith among the Angels, she really was a bit of class...
I had one of those iconic posters of Farrah though in my flat, she did still set my teenage pulse racing at times. Sad end to a once beautiful lady.

She was a face that everyone remembers saw her only a couple of weeks ago in some TV program, she still looked the same so working to the end the all American girl.
