Finally, lets get back to CGI's core issue:
They borrowed a heap of millions from Israel to make a quick buck at Manston airport in Thanet and a Chinese factory at Farthingloe to import products at rubbish prices from Communist China and assemble them here by applying the label "made in UK".
It all went down the drain in Thanet.
And in China, which meanwhile found other importers in the form of almost all Britain's High Street retail chains and the pound shops.
So poor old indebted CGI then decide to build a few settlements at Farthingloe and on Western Heights instead, and need DDC's approval to sell the land - with permission to build on - to developers so as to repay Israel.
This alone is CGI's problem, their quick buck never materialised and they need to repay their debits to their creditors in an Israeli bank. Hence why they changed their original plans from Manston "quick buck" airport and China "cheap rubbish price" factory to something else: SETTLEMENTS.
Fact is, we don't want these. At least, as far as this specific issue is concerned, we don't want them on our two above mentioned protected territories.
And personally I don't want the thousands and tens of thousands more cars that would be streaming in and out of Dover each day if the DDC core strategy went ahead and the CGI planning application too.
And finally, I'd like us to keep our farms and woodlands for us, as we need them for our food (farms), for regeneration of fresh air (woods) and for our personal enjoyment.
