    370. Very interesting Howard.
    People in the UK want to own their own homes to have control over their living arrangements and to make a home to bring up their families in. The current rental rules mean families can be forced to move frequently which is very disruptive. The investment aspect is a secondary factor for most home owners. I think Dover town needs to grow its population and encourage families to live here in good-sized well constructed homes in attractive locations. A falling, ageing population doesn't encourage businesses and leisure providers to come to Dover.
