  Whilst I haven't been following this saga so wouldn't wish to comment on the minutiae of the application IF we are going to have build near Dover at least it has excellent links to M20, close proximity to Railway and being 'high spec' housing should encourage a different demographic to the town i.e. high income, expenditure, expectations etc which can only be good for local retail/school results etc by improving the population profile :- http://moderngov.dover.gov.uk/documents/s9149/D%20-%20Population%20Profile%20v3.pdf
