  When I was raising my three children on a very tight budget it was not really the food that was a problem it was when I needed things like washing powder that sent the shopping bill higher than I liked.
  
  Many working wives do not have the time to shop around or prepare food from scratch like I used to, some though are just bone idle and simply prefer to open a packet..
