Well yes y'see Howard is right, its much quicker and shorter coming from the other direction. Its a well known fact for example that the LD Lines Seacat leaves Boulogne at 5pm and arrives back here at 5pm...now they said it could go fast, but that is much faster than expected. You hardly have time to have a cuppa tay on the thing. Likewise the swimmers could easily take an hour off their time doing likewise. So therefore much easier and faster coming from France, and of course you get assisted by the turn of the globe itself which is catapulting everything in the direction of Dover at a heck of a rate of knots. I hope yis are all following this theory.
