Just as a point of interest, did you know that the only bomb to fall on Dover Castle during the war was dropped by the Italians? It fell outside the outer curtain wall in the ditch close by Peverals tower and gate and did no damage.
Needless to say Barry, another great addition to your fleet, and a rather interesting subject. I am also engaged in a model project at the moment, a 70mm figure, in resin, of a knight dated to 1220, just 4 years after the seiges of the castle, and so could pass as one of the garrison who held the castle against the french. The castle was held for the crown by Hubert De Burgh.
