Flagrantly breaking the law?

  Saw this ad this morning and though the UK had a law against this sort of thing:

  i think there are certain jobs that are exempt from sex discrimination laws, though i cannot see a need for it in the one advertised here.

  Yes youre right Sid there is a law against this kind of advertising. However reading through the copy there, they may indeed be exempt as Howard says, this because of the delicate nature of the project, ie disadvantaged women and girls who may have had all sorts of traumas some even male related.
  
  If that asterisk was actually on the advert there may be a qualifying note added on.
