  Yes indeed...that's St Mary's Church there isnt it and presumably right in the flood plain. It would have been a terrific idea to have a hospital right in here in the centre of things, it seemed to be up and running as a real goer for a while. But...a strong lobby against, using the flood plain notion, seemed to put paid to the whole thing...and in no time at all we were back at Buckland.
  
  I remember Gwyn Prosser saying to me at the time, he had fought long and hard to keep Buckland open with no real success ..and then as if by some ironic default it saved itself by the simple accident of us having a flood plain.
