We went along to this event last night and all the tables were full so it looked like quite a sellout. It was very very enjoyable indeed and we had a fair few jars I can tell you... and of course I demolished my Chicken Curry with an aplomb unforeseen in recent times in Dover. The speed of fork moving between plate and gob was unparalled.
The only forumites to go were Roger W and Jean. BarryW and Alison. Colette Boland and Barry W-S, and Jan Tranter and meself bring it up at the rear. Aaah the ladies were gorgeous and the fellas were...well.. there!lol
I will have some pictures later when I get round to everything.
Louise Orfilla was a very relaxed and an effortlessly talented performer with a lovely voice. Very enjoyable to watch. There were two Richard's backing her up and they were marvellous as well with bags of musical talent.. One was Richard Esdale of Blackfish fame and the other was Richard Ansell, he of the dazzling keyboard.
Brilliant event organised by owner Haydn.
