we cannot complain about tonights action.
croatia deservedly beating the krau, err i mean germany.
the hosts(austria) getting an injury time equaliser against poland.
this sets up a game where if the hosts beat their "old friends", then the favourites could be out.
tomorrow bodes even better, holland versus france!!

Yes it was good last night and tonight looks to be better if the Dutch can win.
I will have to rush the wife round shopping quickly this evening. I am sure I will feel a Migraine coming on just as I get into the store.
And to think there are some that would rather watch two idiots shouting at each other over the dispatch box's, while painting their house.

Jeez! the Austrians in the first 30mins battled away like Trojans to try and get that all important goal, they should have been at least 3 up at that point. They threw everything bar the kitchen sink at the Polish goalkeeper, then against the run of play ....... 0 - 1
They deserved the penalty in added time & finished the match with a great equaliser.

I only saw the highlights of the Croatian German game but what I saw was great foootball, but the German defence

So why did no one back Croatia, they beat us fairly and squarely, and Germany are one of the toughest nuts to crack, yet thier name is not mentioned, they have flair but look solid and of course have a young manager who used to play for my team Everton.Don't be surprised if they win it! Main rivals are Portugal,Holland and still Germany.
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!
Jeez fellas........I love this boys talk!!!!!!! Seriously........

Jeez just watched a great one with Romania and Italy, a 1-1 blinder. These new 'emerging' footballing nations like Romania and Croatia and so on are not emerging any longer. theyre here! They fight tooth and nail in every game with a patriotic pride.
Now put the cat out and lock the woife in the kitchen with her pinny..France and Holland are on next!

Just make sure she is also barefoot PaulB!!!

Two great games tonight, but Holland looks really up for it.
I fancied Holland prior to the tournament and I think they are certainly in the top two so far, Spain being the other side. Still a long way to go yet but hey Germany & France getting beat and Italy struggling it brings tears to your eyes.
Oh and so sad, I had to sacrifice going shopping tonight,

to have to go in the morning so that I could watch the games. I do have such an understanding wife.

what a treat it was tonight, the horses doobries with italy and romania was very good.
the main course of holland and france was out of this world.
every player out there was a credit to their country.
we have been witnesses to some great skills, i still say that come finals day, a couple of work a day teams
that reach their peak, will be there.
i hope that i am wrong.

Wow! What a match, being a Chelsea supporter I am obviously drawn to France, but the Netherlands are something to watch! In their previous game against Italy they showed us how good they were on the break, last night was like being given a lesson in how to control the midfield, and a slow build up from defence to goal. Did you see the ball played forward just before the first goal, unbelieveable!
France were given an expensive lesson I don't think they will recover from.

the sad thing is if france played that way against us they would win.
idiots like mclaren have done damage that will take a long time to repair.
mr capello has his work cut out.

You cant blame a manager/coach for the way that England have played in the past especially Maclaren, the fault lies with the way that the Premier league takes on too many foreign players by not giving home grown footballers the chance to play in the big boyz league to improve their game.
