The Independents will fight to keep the seat vacated by our last candidate and we will field a good candidate who will vote as he wishes. The alleged comments in Dubris do not phase me as I know that that the crass remarks about myself would not be made by anyone with any political credibility!!
Vic had a private conversation with me and I will not repeat the rubbish he quoted as you can guess some of it.
It is a stated aim of the Dover Independents that we wish to see an end to the party politics on Dover Town. It is politics that has been the reason why Dover hasn't progressed. If the Tories ( who had no interest in the Town seats ) now wish to make a political point they will only serve to split a vote and give the seat to the labour party and there are enough of them on the Council. It is that political point scoring that we wish to get rid of so that councillors can concentrate on the real issues.
We will stand as it was our seat to defend.
