A few short years ago Diesel was a very attractive proposition. Various tax breaks had put it in a favourable light and many households weighing up the maths opted to buy diesel cars in an effort to cut back on costs. Now it seems the reverse has happened and the poor oul diesel owner is clobbered.Petrol is now more attractive...that is if anything is attractive in the current sea of rising prices.

On top of that of course the haulage industry runs entirely on diesel so the costs are rising there. So all our daily commodities, goodies, foods etc will be and are more expensive to transport round the country. You can guess who will end up paying!
