  Finally got the grass cut today leaving the last metre or so at the bottom wild to attract various creatures as suggested by environmental groups. A lot of pressure groups want us to stop having lawns and say we should grow vegetables instead which sounds rather boring.
  
  Irises in pots are in bloom but those in the ground have a fair way to go.
