I really don`t understand why any "normal" people would take offence at what was said as clearly this guy`s remarks would not have been aimed at them. Personally I think it`s just somebody, with their own agenda, trying to make something out of nothing.

If I ever go down to the town for whatever reason I usually say that I`m off to "Mutant City" simply because, in my opinion and if I`m being honest, that`s what it often resembles. This remark is not directed, of course, at those classed as "normal" ( and you know who you are! )

Likewise, as Roger has perhaps implied, there are a lot of customers who frequent Tesco`s that I would class as "mutants" and who would all be perfect candidates for the Jeremy Kyle show. Only yesterday I had the misfortune to get behind some smelly and unkempt individual in the queue who was obviously high on something and seemed intent on trying to hassle the poor cashier.
No doubt this particular individual would fit into the PC category as being socially excluded, dissadvantaged, in poverty and in need etc., etc., In reality he needed a good kick up the backside.

Sorry, but it`s about time we said it how it is and if the people who it`s directed at don`t like it, then tough!
