This very large new structure is nearing completion but what is it for? Massive amounts of heavy grade equipment have been on site for ages knocking this monolith into shape...and its large! I thought they were building the new exit road but no it looks to me like those old fashioned football terraces. Okay so we now have the terraces but where's the pitch?? hmmm yes the pitch might be prone to water logging twice a day!
However, seriously for a moment. Is this thing a wave breaker, but if it is just a wave breaker, is it a tad overkill.. a tad expensive. In the old days they would have dumped a few boulders in to confuse mother nature's breakers.
I spent many happy hours watching and indeed photgraphing fantastic waves breaking on this spot so there goes another photo opportunity.
