David you and I are not far apart on Europe.

I would prefer Nigel Farage [who I also like & find entertaining] to do his job in Europe .

I would also like him to ensure the South East gets its share of the EU budget for growth & regeneration.

As we pay in I would expect he fights for our share & comes & represents the Maritime issues, the transport issues & how the EU bureaucracy thwarts grant aid for SME's, the sector you're in.

As Vic could not get him down to Dover as a former PPC [see previous postings] I wonder whether Mr Farage as our MEP for the South East is doing his job in the South East [his constituency] or in his attendances in EU Parliament or committees?

Is that a fair question to ask David?

    Very fair question Paul.

To be honest I've always struggled with the concept of a UKIP person being an MEP.

My issue is it seems clear that tories are wary of Farage and the threat he poses, yesterday you seemed more concerned with where he was speaking rather than what he was saying. Its all very superficial.
