  Am delighted to be able to report that our seafront monster crane was moved away today on its dedicated low loader, so phase one of the seafront repairs are clearly making progress. However its departure is of course tinged with much sadness as while here it gave many of us a terrific lift..what with providing all those daily photo opportunities that were sooo uplifting to some. It made you feel like you could rise above things, some even got the opportunity to float skyward, look down on their fellow man with a benign and godlike understanding..
