    Roger
You may recall the clarendon play area was removed with the full intent of replacing it soon after.
We are many years down the road now, and the council has said it has set aside dosh for the ply aea(not connected to 106 planning agreements at all)
I presume now Roger your saying the council is not longer standing by its words that the dosh is there in council coffers, im interested, so wot happened to that dosh?

On the 106 agreement it became very complicated because if the play area was on the houses being built site, it would only havee been for residents of those new houses, so a play area would be in community but not able to be used by the local community.

more complications arose when it was suggested the applicant doing the building pay towards a site in another part of the ward, again would they do it? how long before someone builds on westmount? who will maintain it?

My understanding when i last spoke to officers was not dosh but where to site it, some sites were suggested and sadly rejected.

even had site meetings(2) that i recall all saying yep goig to happen soon.

I don't now expect it to happen, so it wil be a bonus if it does, but as iv said in other posts, clarendon went, the site AT MOUNT ROAD is to close
    very few around.

    there you have it

    over to you chris
