11:1066901read an orbituary in the times today(barry had a spare copy), on the above lady.
born in austria she done a runner to england in 1938, after mr hitler invaded. she clearly felt that being jewish was not a bonus at that time in austria.
anyway she done a few lowly jobs in the war years and then progressed to publishing books on austrian cusine and mixed with famous people etc etc.
now to the point of the post, it stated that her husband died a few years back at their manor house near deal.
has anyone here heard of the lady?
