I read today in the Dover Express that this week marks the 10th anniversary of the first announcement of the Dover Town Investment Zone plans for the St James' area and surrounding rubble.
I suppose congratulations are in order. Perhaps we could all have a party by the ancient monument that is the Bench Street 'Coming Soon...' regeneration hoarding.
Bonne anniversaire! Allez Douvres!

I think that there was a consultation exhibition in 1996 before the plans became a zone, it's probably 10 years since the consultants were appointed.

i would be happy if something happened with snoops, the rest can wait a bit longer.
once the screen is in place and more places of refreshment are opened, that is the only thing within the eyeline that irks.
to make it worse it's in dover's nicest thoroughfare.

come on vic, brian is right, you have done your best to sell dover to the masses.
you can certainly come up with something more concrete.
