We always fly a St George's flag here (except in the high summer, when we fly a pirate flag instead!). We got a new St George's recently, to go up for the first time for the day - though at the moment it's very rainy!

Up here there are celebrations for St George's day, from English Heritage who do quite a big event at one of their properties, complete with mummers and re-enactors, through dancing the Morris, where a number of sides get together, wearing a rose, to celebrate in the evening, right down to cards in the local shops.

There's a Royal Society of St George, with branches across the world (main address in Folkestone!), and I see that Google, bless 'em, have a little George fighting a dragon today.
