  Just to clarify, my thefts were from the Pageant not HC. I do have a crime number but details were only taken of myself (why do they always want to know your DOB?) the time and place.

  I don't expect anything to be recovered, I just wanted to add to the crime figures.
  
  I'm still smarting from when I was mugged a few years ago. It was late at night and the yobs legged it. I had no real description so only reported it in person (complete with grazed face) at the nick the following morning. Talking to Ian, the town centre cop the next week it transpired that although details were taken they were never recorded. That's why the crime rate is falling!
