What are we planning to do ?
We will be carrying out resurfacing work to the eastbound carriageway of the A20 from Cauldham Lane overbridge in Capel Le Ferne to Aycliff Subway in Dover, Kent. The work will also include installing road markings and road studs.
When will work start and how long will it take?
It is due to take place from Thursday 19 until Friday 27 April between 8pm and 6am on weekday nights only.
Work is weather dependent and therefore subject to change, however we will complete the works as close to the programmed dates as possible.
Road users will exit the A20 at the Courtwood Interchange onto the B2011 coastbound. They will then turn right at the A256 roundabout onto York Street before joining the A20 at York Street roundabout."
As you can see, it was due to be done in April, but was weather dependant so obviously got delayed until now.
