The SeaFrance Cezanne (ex Fiesta) has been laid up for a long time now, and it shows. She is in a terrible state. Would not imagine that Sea France were too happy at having her form the background for all the Dunkirk little ships passing by. Most likely next employment is as razor blades.
The knotboard is indeed one of Mickey Moe's and he did a really super job. The painting in the centre of the knotboard is of the German WW1 raider "Seeadler." Mickey did it to go with the painting above it which is of the legendary WW1 raider S.M.S. "Emden." It was painted by one of the crew and my Great Uncle Alf found it rolled up in a locker on the messdeck when he was sent to the Cocos Islands on H.M.S. "Cadmus" to remove the bodies from the ship and bury them, after the action with H.M.A.S. "Sydney."
