I know, things are just not the same any more..things are indeed tough for Posh Barry, but even I myself had to let Carstairs go last week, and he has been my butler since 1948. I now have to dress myself in the mornings which is a bit of a bummer I can tell you. I just dont know where..where.. to put the pin in the cravat.
I have kept Mrs Brownlow on of course, one cant sink too far, as she prepares my lightly boiled egg to perfection. Her venison alas isnt great but I can wash it down with lots of Port...so some compensation there.
Its that damn Labour Party of course...the introduction of the 50p tax rate has lowered my standard of living enormously.I have had to sell the vintage Rolls Royce, but I suppose I shouldnt whinge, I have another 19 in the garaaaaage!
