  The furore surrounding Roger's joke has knocked us all for six...to use the old fashioned cricketing term. The whole rhytmn has gone from the forum and I think to some extent we are all waiting for it to die town. Roger has been a member with us here for years and years and Im sure in the longer run that wont be changing. He is one of our best communicators here in Dover. The good news for Roger, if there is any good news, is that almost everyone everywhere is supporting him. It could be awful if everyone was attacking him. Thats the good news, the bad news is that the newspapers are still to come out which will prolong the story for a little while yet.
  
  It is extraordinary how the story exploded all around us and all the members were doing on Doverforum was going about our usual business.
  
  But I call on all members to get us back to near norm and get new threads going and so forth. All members and their shoulders... to the wheel my friends..to the wheel!
  
  By the way if anyone hasnt seen it as yet, the thread in the political section "No more Fairy Stories" has all the posts including the latest one from Roger himself.
