Britney Spears made a comeback today, but some fans were unhappy because she rarely commuciated with the audience, and didn't sing many songs live.
But others enjoyed the show, because thats what it was, a show, and most went away happy.
Whats your thoughts?
It's the equivilent of watching a trained bear perform - cruel, uncomfortable and simply to make money for someone, not necessarily the performer. The girl is vulnerable, and it is not good sport.

Correct Bern. I really do not 'get' this fascination some have with overblown so called celebrities.

I have to admit her Circus tour looked like a great show but if I was paying a hefty price for tickets I'd expect someone to sing live.
There seems to be a fascination with 'train wreck' celebrities - Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan, Kerry Katona, Lily Allen. I wonder if it's because in some way people think they deserve it or it makes them feel better about themselves.

Andrew, I LOVE Lady Gaga. I think the video for Paparazzi is amazing, granted it won't be everyone's cup of tea but it appeals to my weird sense of humour!
