    One of the most difficult things with old age is realising sometimes we need help. My advice to Vic would be swallow your pride and accept whatever help you can get.

    My right arm was paralysed when I had polio as a child but there was never a problem I could not overcome. I could still move very large paving slabs, mix cement, pull a pint, cook for and serve my customers, now I have a mini battle opening some of my medicine packets.
