    I watched the footie and enjoyed it. I heard this morning that Capello stated that Beckhams career was over...pity he didn't have the decency to inform Beckham about it either over the phone or in person.

    Not sure about my history but didn't Bill the Con make a deathbed confession about how poorly he treated the Anglo Saxons by confiscating their land and putting many to the death by the sword?. At least the Normans left a pile of nice churches the first of which I believe was St Marys? in Dover town centre.
