Its time again for...The Crabble Corn Mill Beer Festival.

Have just had a reminder in about this excellent event from that young man about town Mike Webb. We doverforum gals and geezers go to this event every year and its truly enjoyable. Really worth a trip, not only for the fantastic selection of Beers and Ciders, but on top of that all can witness first hand Nitro Nige with his Crippledick in his hand..and no Im not kidding
oooh I say!
I have a collection now of the specialist beer glasses from the event so will be there to get the latest one.

- 17 May 2008 07:152212Of course along with Nitro Nige Ive had Crippledick myself a few times too and its not perhaps the most pleasant of experiences. Too much of it can lead to depression and headache and even worse, some people say you can go limp all over...well.. heavens!! But then there are always other options in life and one should try them all..and you can do that at The Crabble Corn Mill.

Friday entrance fee is £3.50 and Sat is £2.00
Like most Beer Festivals, once inside you purchase a beer pack, which costs £10 for the festival glass plus 3 pints in beer tokens. The glass is yours to keep as a memento, should you wish to and most do.
Once you have got your glass and beer tokens you go to the bar and use the tokens to purchase the beer and or cider.
You can take your glass back when you go and get a full refund on the glass and a refund on any beer tokens you do not use.
You can go back as many times as you like and purchase extra beer tokens.
It all works out at about £2.60 a pint for every pint you drink.
Please come along and join in the fun, you will meet old friends and new and remember there is no need to bring the car, we have the bus at just £1.25 a trip or you can phone a taxi from the Mill free. - 19 May 2008 18:532311I am told today that you do not have to purchase the £10 pack as you can just purchase beer tokens in single pints..

The conference was also good this morning.
