  You are 100% right on this Rick. There is a lot of legislation that results in having to waste your own and other people's time and money. You are right about older workers, they have a great deal to offer and only the most short-sighted of employers would automatically bar them from many if not most jobs. But there are cases and situations where other factors take over, like yours and it is unfair on both the employer and the job seeker not to be able to spell out your requirements.
