18:2641292Been away for 5 days, and caught the first train up to London last Friday morning. On walking up the forecourt to Kearsney station, I was taken aback by the spectacle of all that junk in the builder`s yard mostly gone after decade`s of being an eyesore. I mentioned it to a commuter on the platform who informed me that the site had to be cleared, as it`s going to be a new builder`s retail yard. Not much parking up there, never mind lorries manoeuvering about. Anyone heard anything?

18:4141295Not yet, but I'll start listening for the sound of idiot drivers taking their lorries into the railway bridge! Staggered that planning permission has been granted in such an inappropriate place for such a business. Tjhe site would be bst landscaped, after all, it is a residential area, not an industrial estate.

23:5841335Yes Vic, I gather Ant and his team had a great time removing stuff to be recycled at the Mill. There was a lot of timber there, amongst other things, that will come in useful no doubt.

15:5441434Just to let you know it will stay the way it is,they have to test the condition of the ground before anything can be done this will take time and money.

21:0641441Thanks for that Vic. Let`s hope it doesn`t get even worse than it was, with that dereliction look. A big attraction for some.

10:2941458Colin I was told and I did go and have alook to, that they are still clearing the site then it will be taken back to the ground then the E.A.dept will do what they have to do and that is all I know.I think in the end they might build on it but that is along way away yet.

Seperate issue here, but there were a couple of police cars spotted up the driveway to Kearsney station around 11.30 this morning on my way home from work. Any info?
