  The revamp of the Market Square is moving forward apace & already looks like it will create a decent focal point/meeting space for the town. Of course as with any building work it looks a mess until its finished.
  
  As for Bench Street, lets hope that between the revamp of the old Post Office/cycle shop into better quality housing & retail/community space coupled with the recent acquisitions in that area by DDC (Macaris Chip shop & an undisclosed plot - perhaps The Crypt/Godden's decrepit arcade) as well as the proposed future works on the underpass, we will see a much better & visually appealling connection between sea & town.
