    I think that many of the negative comments are borne out of frustration and growing cynicism.

    I would say that it isn't Nadeem's nor DDCs fault about the delay, I do believe that the developers should take some responsibility - I'm sure they want it to succeed as they are putting their own money in now, but are they pushing the landownership issues (which is a big delaying factor) hard enough ? My view is that they aren't.

    If the land-ownership issues are delaying the area round Burlington House/County Hotel, then why doesn't phase one start - on the corner of Townwall Street and Woolcomber Street, build the Hotel and Tower etc. then when these CPOs are resolved, they can put the telecommunications masts on top of the Tower and Hotel and proceed to knock down BH.

    But in the mean-time, we still need to look after Dover Town.
