Mel you are right Politics is not a young persons game,I am proud that 2 of my daughters have told me they voted Labour,my step daughter would only vote if the person standing had black face make up and was called something like Arthur Strangler.
But thier is a glimmer of light because youngsters are getting intrested again, one of my young friends is Danny Lee who is on the Youth Parliment and when we had our street stall we had 4 or 5 new younger memebers there. It is a start, but if you could find someone young and keen to stand in Tower Hamlets I would pass my job on,what is strange that the person I would like to lead the Labour Party is Alan Johnson,a good working class guy but at 59 is seen to be too old for the job.
