Level Crossing Footage

  Did anyone catch the extraordinary amount of near misses on level crossings on the news last night? Cars narrowly missing the train by inches and there was one instance where a chap was so close to being killed that the train actually knocked his shoe off as he ran across the rails. Over 15 people were killed last year alone, it was shocking to see the risks people take not only with their own lives but with others, shocking

  Yes Jeez I saw the footage on BBC. I havent had time as of yet to check out Scotchies links there, but the television coverage was shocking. It is unbelievable what people will do. One guy thought he was a bit toooo cooool and vaulted over the barrier as others watched, he was more intent on being cool than checking out for trains and while in the middle of the track he spotted a train yards from him, he sprinted for his life then and the train hit his shoe as he sprinted off, knocking his shoe off. Young people think its cool playing chicken with the trains, but its very bad and not safe at all, not to be recommneded.
