  [U]Bargain supermarket giant Lidl has been granted planning permission for a new store at Honeywood Retail Park in Whitfield.
  
  The store will create 40 new jobs and boast 159 parking spaces. Dover District Council revealed the news today.
  
  The new Lidl is expected to open in late 2017. It will feature a new store format with wider aisles and self-service tills.[/U]
