  They are in the area again. Please don;t fall for their claims but rather pack up your unwanted things and take them to one of our local charity shops.

  Thanks for the tip Penny. I had an unusual bag through my door recently too..one I hadnt seen before, looking at the picture there it may have been the one you mention.

  I have got three different ones in the last couple of weeks too, it can be difficult to know if they are really the real thing so as a matter of course I always take mine down to the numerous charity shops in the town

  just got another one today, it does state that that the goods will be sold in shops across eastern europe.
  
  despite that people still fill them and put them out for collection.
  
  rnli and age uk are the best bets, all monies go to the cause with no middlemen and plush offices.

  i take my stuff drirectly to the shop,then i know they get the full benifit from it.

  not the same thing brian, the cancer and heart shops have massive overheads.
  
  a tiny proportion of the money taken in the shops actually goes to the cause.
  
  the two i mentioned earlier are exempt from that, only volunteers are employed.

  howard,i split mine between age concern and the rspca shop.the heart foundation i tend to stay away from.
