    I did not tealise we were in the middle of a maelstrom. Far from it. Our independent Audit says otherwise & having just gone thru. a major regeneration inspection & come out with Good & a recent equalities review with 3 out of 4. I think we are travelling in the right direction. Communications costs money. We don't have money & it is getting tighter. District Councils are facing extinction-financial attrition. That is why we are voluntarily joining services with other Districts rather than be starved out. We don't think small but are ahead of the game. Waiting for others to make decisions for you is not my way.
